Unable To Edit Top Of Posts

  1. I've discovered a very aggravating problem with this version of the app. Whenever I try to edit a post, I can not place the cursor to the beginning of the post. In fact, the first two lines or so of the post are hidden below the interface where it displays the Done button on the left, post title in the middle and Save button on the right. When I scroll up to select the text at the beginning of the post, the post scrolls down automatically and I can't select it. This is so frustrating, I've stopped using it!

I wasn't able to reproduce this error in the latest development version, so I've e-mailed a build of the newest revision for Jeff to test and let us know how it goes.

  3. The issue happens with every post I try to edit. I've tried the newest version and the problem is still apparent. Using the latest version of iPhone OS software. Here is a screenshot which may help to showcase the problem.

While in the screenshot, it looks like upgrade story game is the beginning of the post, about 2 or three lines are above that but I have no way of getting access to that part of the post in the editing screen as it's hidden by the interface. I scroll up to see it and the post scrolls down to that point.

Thanks Jeff, the screenshot did the trick -- I figured out that the custom fields is causing the issue. I wasn't seeing the problem until I added a custom field to one of my existing posts. I'll file a ticket.

  5. Thanks Matt. Let me know when there is a new build available to test out the fix.

I've filed a ticket (#261) for this issue so you can track its progress. We've got a handful of open tickets, so we're aiming to get a lot of those fixes into the next beta version. :)

  7. I installed build 613 that Matt sent me today and the issue was resolved in that build.
