Space bar scrolling in Reader, please!

When using an external keyboard to an ipad, it would be great if one could use space bar and arrow keys to scroll through posts and their content in Reader, like one does on regular web pages.

I found the lack of space bar scrolling so nagging that I have momentarily switched back to the web version of Wordpress, which works great too of course, it's just that I'd prefer to use the app since... I don't know, since there is one? Or is best practice on ipads to just use Safari?

Interesting request given that the iPad is a touch centric user interface device with limited keyboard support. Do you see “space bar to scroll” as something that benefits a majority of users? Is this feature available in other apps?

Thanks for your reply, I appreciate it!

Yes, the Ipad is touch centric, but Apple is also marketing the Ipad Pro more and more as a substitute to a laptop computer, and the smart keyboard is very well integrated in the UI. So I think this feature would add value, even if "a majority of users" probably wouldn't care. (I find geeky people like myself are more likely to prefer the keyboard to other input methods such as mouse, voice or touch.)

I've now tried the "space bar to scroll" feature in three apps with scrollable content: App Store, Airbnb and Google Analytics - none of them lets me scroll with the space bar, so I realize my request is not Wordpress-specific. Would still be a nice addition though!
