1. HEIC is not a very common format. It would be great if the iOS app would automatically convert photos from HEIC to JPG on upload.

  2. Hi there!

The WordPress for iOS app should already upload HEIC photos (like Apple's Live Photos) from your device's photo library as .jpg files. Are you seeing something different? If so, could you provide the steps you're taking to upload a HEIC photo to your site's media library?

  3. I think I see the problem now. It's not that it is not converting it to JPEG, it's that the file is too big to be uploaded. I don't suppose the app can resize the image before uploading?

Sure! Have a look at the Me tab and tap on App Settings. The first option you should see let's you set a Max Image Upload Size. Give it a try and let us know if that does the trick.

  5. OMG. I am an idiot.

I am having the same problem with HEIC format, can you tell me where the Me tab is?

  7. Hi there!

We launched an update that fixed a bug where the HEIC images were giving us problems with uploads recently. Can you make sure you that have the most recent version of the app installed on your device?

If not, you can find the options under My Sites > Click the icon of the profile of a person in a circle > App Settings. You can then confirm from here the dimension options you have set for image uploads.

    Thank you!
