WordPress for iOS Forums

I have used Wordpress on a local area network for a long time. Lately I have taken the specific server offline completely and use it only as a Local area network / intranet ( not Internet ) my posts and writing work , however uploading photos always fails. Do I really need to have an Internet connection to upload photos ? I use this LAN with others and would like to keep it "off line " meaning not connected to the Internet at all and just locally. Please advise on this. I have noticed many things that have worked on my LAN like a chess game but when "online" they've failed to work ! But my concern revolves the upload of photos and movies , that always fail on the LAN .... I had issues with photos uploading to my online Wordpress previous to this update. They were always incomplete and had the bottom 1/3 appear "grey" and no image in the photo. Thanks for fixing that. But please allow me the LAN upload of files :). Thanks for the excellent work !!!
