WordPress for iOS Forums

I recently moved my blog from WordPress.com to a WordPress.org installation. I had purchased a custom domain through WordPress.com's store, so I am still using the same domain name, just now a .org installation on my own server.

I stumbled through the initial issues with publishing iOS to the .org installation (it published to .com just fine): enabling XML-RPC in the admin panel, adding the mod_security rule to Apache config, so the app can now login and appears to post. however, new posts never appear. I just logged into my old WordPress.com account, and, what do you know, the posts are appearing there ...

Any ideas how this could possibly be happening? I have removed and readded the blog on the iOS app.

Sometimes domain servers can take a while to update the address change, is it still posting to the wrong blog now?

No, it's working now. But given the fact that HTTP and SSH access worked correctly, I doubt it was a DNS issue.

The configuration on the iPad app was still incorrect. The "Blog ID" was wrong, among other things. Strangely, I don't know hwo this would allow it to post to the OLD blog, but I can understand how an incorrect configuration would prevent it from posting to the new one. At any rate, it's fixed now!
