WordPress for iOS Forums

Hi,

I'm happy that Wordpress exists on iOS, but the implementation is so barebones that it has virtually no use to me the way I want to use Wordpress.

I need custom fields, I need rich editing and I need featured images for a start.

It seems that the Android version of Wordpress has lots of what I need and I wonder why they get all the goods while we iOS users are left out of the fun.

The thing is - this seems to be a very conscious strategy from whoever is developing it and I just want to say: For me, the strategy is faulty. And I see many others sharing that view.

I'm hoping 2012 will bring a truly Wordpress-enabled iOS solution.

I'm with Eivind...

Featured images alone would make this app worth it. I have no use for it without.
I find it sad that that Android and iOS are soo different.

Hook it up WP... Let me know if I can help. I have found several people with solutions for this update already.

I really need the custom fields too. Otherwise this great looking app is useless for me too

I really like the WP app which I use on ipad2 but I would like an image alignment tool then it would be perfect. I bought BlogPress for image alignment and that just doesn't work at all.
