HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error

   Please help - this has been driving me mad all day!

   I have multiple blogs hosted on multiple sites with the same windows hosting server.

   I can install sites within subfolders e.g. mysite/wordpress but not those hosted in wwwroot.

   When I try to add a blog in a root folder I get error

   Sorry, can't log in
   HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error

   Grateful for any assistance in this matter
