I have 3 self hosted blogs installed on my Wordpress App, but one of them removes the < > every time I publish a post. So, I cannot publish any posts with images or links! See http://www.woodenwheels.com/51/2011/11/test-post-w-old-theme/ for an example.

I am having similar problems.

" and '<' '>' characters are removed in the process of posting a quick photo

Install this plugin and it should fix your problem:
