Can't log in - HTTP/1.1 503 Service Unavailable

When I try to log in to my site (eddieatedynamite.com) through the WP app, it says "Sorry, can't log in" and gives me the above error.
Logging in works fine through Safari...
Any ideas?

The app won't be able to connect while the site is in maintenance mode.

Hi, I'm receiving the exact same message on my self-hosted site and I'm not even logged in. Is there another reason I might receive this message?

@ChristineR - The app tried to connect to your blog but something went wrong over the http connection. Could you please post the URL of your blog?

Hello, I got exactly the same error. I removed the blog and the app but it still doesnt work. I still get the error. Before i were doing the upgrade it worked fine.

could i please put in a a feature request/bug-fix regarding this forthe next update? when going through the regular wp dashboard web interface, while in maintenance mode as long as i can log in, i can create/edit posts and make any sort of change in the dashboard i wish, etc. i should be allowed to do the same in maintenance. mode in the iOS app interface for wp, with nothing hindering me. getting this cryptic “HTTP/1.1 503 service unavailable.” message is confusing and cryptic to your users to say the least.

The only "maintenance mode" I know in WordPress is done automatically during an upgrade and only lasts as long as the upgrade.
Are you using a plugin for this?

@Jorge - yes, i'm using the wp maintenance mode plug-in. but this should not make a huge difference. as with the web interface and the dashboard, i should be allowed, with my admin password, to get in and create/edit posts and pages and anything else, no problem, without this http 1.1/503 error.

Then I'd say it's a bug on the plugin. If it denies requests to /xmlrpc.php there's nothing we can do about it.
