WordPress for iOS Forums

Can post but can't edit

   I can post to my WordPress.org (self-hosted) blog using my iPhone, BUT once it is posted, I cannot edit the post. When I hit "update", the post is recorded as "failed" and the edit doesn't happen.

   (I also can't upload images, but I hear that's almost normal.)

   sorry, forgot to specify: I am using WordPress app on my iPhone 4 running IOS 5.1.1

   Can you enable extra debug and let us know if there's any errors that show up in the log file?

   OK, Dan, this is really really weird. The iExplorer Apps list does not include Wordpress. (I swear.) It shows (I think) every app on my iPhone, but not Wordpress.

   If you don't believe me, happy to email you a screenshot!

   OK, sorry - I found the iEplorer problem; it was on my end, of course (don't ask)! Here is the debug log entry:

   Hmm, a 403 error means forbidden. Not sure why it would happen only when editing. Are you using a user that has Administrator or Editor access?

   Yes, I am using an Administrator account.

   I am having the same exact error on my iPad.
