I tried to update my Wordpress App on my Ipad 2, but keep getting the message failed to download. It is clear that it will not download (been "retrying" for weeks) and seems like the only solution is deleting the app and reloading it. The prompt says that all information will be deleted so I'm concerned that it will delete content from my blog. Do anyone have any experience with this? Is it safe to delete the app and re-download it?

No, it won't delete any content from your blog at all if you reinstall the app.
