I run a blog on self-hosted WordPress 2.6.2. Nothing special: typo, a bunch of plugins. Been running really well since last october. The WordPress app was one of the reasons I got an iPhone. The first app I installed was the WordPress app. The app hangs as described here.

I added my blog to it, and it hung with the circular device spinning. There is activity, but it isn't liking what it sees:

That's quite a big packet it sends there, but unless the network is dropping a packet with a larger than average MTU (it should be fragmenting packets that are larger), I'm stuck to explain it. The MTU is 1500 on my WP server. I did do a packet capture using tcpdump on the server but some of the packets are being truncated.

In any case, the app should throw an error at some point, rather than sit and spin.
