And it only adds to my disappointment with Wordpress when I see that you posted this almost a month ago and haven't received a reply. I used Wordpress on my iphone for months and LOVED it. Loved being able to update on the go! One day it just stopped working. I uninstalled the app abd reinstalled it and now i cant even add my blog. Crashes instantly. I click "add self hosted blog", type in URL, username, password, it spins like its thinking for a second the app crashes. When I reopen it says "last time Wordpress was open it crashed, send crash report?". I send it, try again, same thing .... Repeat this a million times in the last month. FRUSTRATED doesn't even begin to describe it. Also disappointed that I wasted time even writing this if no one replies to these.

I've tried all of the trouble shooting suggestions from the forums and I can't get it to work. I can get other blogging apps (Blogger +) to work, though I have to go into the posts and edit out the html coding, so I know it's not my web hosting.

I would rather pay for an app that works than have a free app that doesn't work. I am using:
self-hosted WordPress blog (shavonne.org)
WP version 3.3.1
iPhone system software version 5.0.1
WordPress for iPhone version 2.9.4

I've tried using a default theme without plugins, with plugins, other themes, and NOTHING has worked. NOTHING. The Wordpress app just does not work. I'm not sure what code the Blogger + developers are using to get my iPhone to post to my self hosted blog, but at least I can get something posted even if it doesn't look good. And it isn't hard to get the blog set up.

I'm so irritated that I haven't been able to get the Wordpress app to work. Has anyone else had this problem?

I just posting this so a better product can be developed. I can't give the Wordpress app a satisfactory rating if I can't even get it to work.
