Thus, it is very difficult to tell if a category is nested below the 1st level or 2nd level parent category. I would think using the same method as the web admin would work well on the app: multiple dashes denoting how far a category is nested.

∟Child - 1 of Child 2
∟Child - 2 of Child 2
