When editing posts that have existing html, the less than/greater than characters are stripped out (completely destroying the html on the post)

Any idea what could be going on?

Is the app not HTML capable?

Perhaps mod_security (or something like it) is blocking these requests?

When I put in my details in the main screen,

http://blog.connormcc.com or just blog.connormcc.com

I get a 404 communication error, if I add /wp-admin it seems to work but then wont accept my XML-RPC file... it says it doesn't get a good response.

any help would be much appreciated...
